The Flash (2023) MOVIE's REVIEW

The Flash is a 2023 superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It is a standalone film, separate from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), and is directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Christina Hodson. The film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / Flash, alongside Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston. In the film, Barry travels back in time to prevent his mother's murder, but his actions inadvertently create a new timeline in which he must team up with Batman to save the world.

The Flash is a mixed bag of a film. On the one hand, it is ambitious and visually stunning, with some truly memorable action sequences. The film also features some excellent performances, particularly from Miller, Keaton, and Affleck. On the other hand, the film is also uneven and overly long, with some pacing issues and a few too many plot holes.

Overall, The Flash is a flawed but enjoyable film that is sure to please fans of the character. It is not the best superhero film ever made, but it is a fun and entertaining ride that is worth checking out.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the film:
